Hi, My name is Chris and the title is me to a T. I was born in Whittlesford, England. This is a beautiful small village close to Cambridge. I spent my formative years there and loved it often holidaying at various seaside towns such as Yarmouth, Clacton and Ilfracombe. As an infant I attended Whittlesford Primary (all of 20 students) and then did my first 2 years of senior school at Cambridgeshire High School for Girls. It was during the start of my third year of High School that Mum and Dad made the decision like many others to migrate. They had choices of countries available – by memory they were Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa. I cannot express how thankful I am that they chose Australia.
I was born in England and am told I still have an English accent even after being here 47 years!. I am proud of my English heritage but equally proud to say that I have now become an Australian citizen. How lucky can one be.
I am here to show you what Australia has to offer a ‘pommie’ coming over to Australia whether it be on holiday or luckily like myself to stay.
